California Adventure Part 5 - Napastyle

Dad and I had a great vacation in Napa.  We were there for 5 days and it went by so fast.  I didn't get a chance to take in everything, but I was able to enjoy some of the things Napa has to offer......

We drank fine wine....

We went to baseball games....

We colored....

We were forced by Grandma to go out and look at balloons every morning....

We celebrated birthdays....

All while staying safe and returning to Mom

But it was tiring

California Adventure Part 4 - Fender Bender

One morning we went to the Fremont Diner with Tom, who's friends with Dad.   Little did I know, but those chickens I was looking at were going to end up as a chicken n' waffles, Dad's favorite menu item.  Farm to table baby.

HOWEVER, on the ride home, a pregnant lady in a Prius hit us at about 1mph and I was in my first automobile accident.  We got out and spoke with her before we had a chance to call our attorneys and exchanged information.  Thankfully nobody was injured.

California Adventure Part 3 - Taco Truck

On Saturday, Aunt Amanda turned old and we celebrated with friends and a taco truck...

Does everyone get taco trucks for their birthday?  It pulled right up to the house

I ate with dad

I had a quesadilla, Dad had fish tacos

hey, the Couto's were there

there were chicks there too

 

California Adventure Part 2 - In & Out

First thing you must do when you get to California, is find your nearest In & Out....

Double Double, No Onions (tomatoes go to Mom), CUT IN HALF, fries WELL DONE

...shakes are good too

Notice the cut in half action on Dad's, it's a great secret menu maneuver 

Oh, and don't frighten the poor worker with a photo at the window

California Adventure Part 1 - Air Travel

Traveling to California....

I was a little skeptical of my maiden plane flight at first..

...but a solid flight crew calmed me down

no, the white phone...

the first flight was rough, Dad picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue...

then we changed planes in Denver...

and I was finally able to get some rest....
