OK, so Happy Halloween, but I must say, these weird Iowa traditions have devastated me. Apparently "Halloween" wasn't good enough, so everyone goes trick-or-treating on October 30 here. And the kids tell a joke to get candy. Lame. Yet I still went to 3 houses, they were nice enough to give me candy, but instead I just marched into their living room, grabbed the remote, and changed the channel. We'll work on it for next year......
